They were so amazed/shocked/confused by this movie(the room) that they made a movie about the movie ...and Tommy(johnny). you will love it and it makes the room make more sense.

Either way this movie failed so hard that a movie called "The Disaster Artist" was made which is a dramatization to tell the story of how this movie was made.
