2024-05-24 08:07:09 +0000 UTCI was looking forward to this one :) Conan is one of those iconic movies that can't be topped or remade. They tried with mixed results. The second film is more fun and campy, with a larger cast, but not as good. There's been talk for years of a King Conan movie with old Arnie, but nothing yet. One of the games I play with Arnold movies is 'Spot Sven'. Arnold casts his friend Sven Ole Thorsen in all his films, and in this one he was the guy with the big hammer.

2024-05-23 21:57:43 +0000 UTCThis is one of my top 5 favorite movies. I saw it in the theater when I was 12 years old and I've loved it ever since. I read the books by Howard. One great thing about Conan the Barbarian is how closely the movie adheres to the book. The music is also some of the best in film history.
