This was one of Arnold's truly great movies. The sequels Conan the Destroyer and Red Sonja were also amazing for their time, even though Red Sonja's "Conan" was never called such, story-wise it was supposed to be the same fictional character but they couldn't get the rights to use the character name for it. For all intents and purposes though, it's still "Conan 3" to many. Reportedly Arnold is working on "The Legend of Conan" that is potentially related to the final epilogue scene in this movie.
