2024-06-26 09:54:17 +0000 UTCIn my opinion, you can skip GitS2 and the ScarJo movie, but the series 'Stand Alone Complex' is exceptionally good. The ScarJo movie is pretty to look at, but sadly they gave it a typical Hollywood 'Fight the Evil Corporation' story rather than the thought provoking trans-human one in this movie. 'Solid State Society', 'Arise', and the cleverly-named 'The New Movie' are all pretty good.
