Yes, Dasha, the movie is much like a video game, but remember that this was made during the infancy of video games, so it probably influenced the games. The sequel, Escape from L.A., is generally not considered very good, and kind of goofy, so you may only want to bother with it if you are a completist. And as far as this movie being "boyish," yes, it is, and speaking for the boyish among us, we like it that way! ๐
