Portia is a feminine given name taken from the name of the Roman Porcia gens, which was ultimately derived from the Latin porcus, or pig. It sounds exactly like "Porsche".

I enjoyed your reaction, sorry the animal stuff made you unhappy. May I suggest watching Fierce Creatures, a quasi-sequel with the same cast playing entirely different characters in a completely different story. A little suprised that you didn't recognize the two Python alums, Palin and Cleese, since you've seen THG and LOB....

Also, Ken was really surprised seeing her dead, it was for sure not intentional to torture her. Yes, some of the movie jokes are very absurd and/or dark, I am quite sorry Dasha was disturbed by them.

Ive seen lots of people recommended this movie over the years, in the end she still liked the movie so I wouldnt take it personally, all good.

Hey Dasha, Im sorry you had a hard time watching this one with those poor doggies. I'm hoping tidbit this will help you feel a little bit better about the movie. Ken was never trying to kill the dogs. He was trying to Kill the old lady andthos puppies were all tragic accidents. He may be a murdering robber but he real;lly is against animal cruelty. After watching those scenes, i was glad to see youi laughing again and enjoying the rest of the movie. I apologize for recommending this movie to you, the thought never crossed my mind that you would find it offensive and ill do m,yh best to be more careful in future suggestions.

The old woman was targeted by George after she pointed him out in the police lineup as the driver of the getaway vehicle after the heist. George sent Ken to do the job. The three yorkies were killed by mistake. Ken bungled his attempts to 'rub out' the old lady and her yorkies suffered the consequences each and every time. That's why you see Ken in tears when he realizes that he messed up every time. It's not going to be funny to everyone who watches the movie just like I can't watch any movie version of "Pet Sematary" because the re-animated cats creep me out. Of course, no actual yorkshire terrier were harmed in "A Fish Called Wanda", just as the fish that Otto swallowed were not fish even though the actors sometimes told interviewers at publicity events that they were real.
