I played little league or something when I was a kid. (duh) I remember one time I was at-bat, I missed two strikes. Then they brought out the tee for me. They put the ball on the tee. I concentrated, swung, ...and hit the rubber tube. The ball fell a couple inches away. I was not good.

Its okay that you didnt know the rules or how the game works, this movie is about the heart and the underdog story. Very good reaaction, dont feel too bad. Plenty of vids on YouTube to get the idea if you are curious.
