I agree with what others said. I will say that you should just stop looking at IMDB PERIOD before watching a movie for a blind reaction. You seriously spoil yourself and your expectations going into every movie you watch when looking at IMDB before hand. I would suggest just giving your guesses before the movie about what it could be about instead of looking it up, looking at the cast and the pictures.

2024-09-22 00:44:02 +0000 UTCDasha, I think you hit on the idea that the real horror of this movie is high school. For far too many kids, myself included, high school could be a nightmare. Teenagers have the autonomy to do stuff like this, but they don't yet have the wisdom not to be cruel. It's a recipe for disaster. What was your experience in Russia? As far as prom, I didn't go to my own prom, but I did go a little while later when my first girlfriend had her prom. Unfortunately that relationship was a horror story of its own.. 😉
