We should fix that. You should watch the best ROM-COM's ever made. I think there are 4 in movie form (Pretty Woman, Sleepless in Seattle, When Harry met Sally and Notting Hill) and 1 TV series (Pride and Prejudice, BBC 1995) and then decide once and for all, is it Love or Hate. It is certainly love for me.

Also - I was not expecting "Frankie Goes to Hollywood" song (the one in strip club) - I even don't want to think about how old is it .....

Whenever I see a dog or cat in a scene doing exactly what was intended, I think it's quite an accomplishment on behalf of the trainer/handler. I don't think it's as simple as it looks because a TV or film set has a crew close by with cameras and lighting and microphones - all of the types of things that would distract human actors, let alone trained animals.

I was hoping the whole time she would come to her senses & realize the deal she made with him was a horrible thing to do to anyone. She finally grew a conscience & realized you shouldn't toy with people's lives like that. That was real character growth. But the scenes where they were supposedly warming up to each other was very sketchy & seemed very forced. I didn't buy it. It was pretty infantile & flimsy. What seemed more real to me was the vibe he had with his old girlfriend. I was hoping they would work things out, but noooo......we had to have the Hollywood ending of him "falling in love" with the person he hated for so long. I give that fictional marriage less than a year before they realize they screwed up. The other scenes that were over the top disgusting & cringey were the stripper scene & Gammy revealing that she faked the heart attack. Really dumb, lowbrow writing. Sandra Bullock is drop dead gorgeous, & charming as fuck. It was great to see Betty White. The cast was great. The cinematography was great. The music was good. The story sucked. Oh well. 🤷🏻♂️

This movie made me tear up for the movie, and understanding Dashas perspective on leaving family and moving to Canada to live with her sister. I moved away for 9 years when I enlisted in the U.S Navy, barely only seeing them once a year during the holidays. Side note, Dasha, you mentioned wanting to react to a movie with your sister. I think that would be awesome. You can truely tell how much you admire her when you bring her up.
