2024-10-22 14:02:38 +0000 UTCDasha, let's talk about Jeepers Creepers. First of all, the scariest thing about the movie is unfortunately the story of its director, Victor Salva. Before Jeepers creepers, he made a movie called Clownhouse, which is also a very good horror movie. During the making of that movie, he molested one of the young boys who starred in it, and in fact he filmed himself molesting the boy. He was later arrested and spent over a year in prison (and frankly, it wasn't nearly enough time). When Salva made the fairly well-known movie Powder, the boy he had molested begin picketing his movies to bring awareness to all this.. salva is a good director but a terrible human being. On a much lighter note, the license plate spells out "be eating you" which is a pretty cool detail. But the more you think of it, it doesn't make a lot of sense. We're told that the monster appears every 23 years to feed. He's got a very limited time to do that, and he's going to bother going to the trouble of getting a personalized license plate? Why would it even bother getting a license plate? It's not like he's afraid of the police. And can you imagine this creature turning up at the department of motor vehicles? đ There are four Jeepers Creepers movies so far, and I would say the first two are good, and then they start falling off. The third one is still probably worth a watch, but the fourth one is really just a cash grab in my opinion. I agree with you totally on road trips, especially when you stop at obscure places along the way. It's the best. Thanks for another very entertaining half hour. I love your horror reactions so much!
