Then season 1 episdoe 1 starts with the episode called "33" figured id give you a reminder since we are one episode away from the conclusion of GoT season 4. 2024-10-29 16:01:30 +0000 UTCDespite the way the show ended turning off so many people, I still feel it is the best show I've ever seen. When the show passed the books is when - IMO - the show started to falter. Slowly at first, but then when it began to wrap up is when is became the big mess it was known for. At least that's how I see it. Since I was a kid I've always been a fan of medieval stories, fantasy stories, etc. From games to movies and more. That may be why I'm still very fond of GoT. That, and the books are excellent. One of the reasons why I'm into that genre I think is because of "The Beastmaster" 1982. When I was a little kid that movie was on TV all of the time and I loved the adventure of it. My friends and I would craft wooden swords and run out into the woods pretending to slay dragons and save princesses. It was a good time. A better time. I never recommend The Beastmaster for reactions though, because despite it still being a nostalgic favorite of mine, it didn't age very well and is cheesy at times. Plus, it's not a short movie. I am not sure how well it would translate to reactions. Although all of the animals in it will likely have an impact on animal lovers. Anyways, the point is just to explain that while GoT ended on a sour note, I'm still very fond of the show. Epic fantasy will always be a genre that holds a special place for me, growing up on The Beastmaster and Conan the Barbarian. House of the Dragon will be a series that will have to enter some polls at some point too.
