You mentioned I should watch mini series first. Is this it ? And after this one I watch Season 1 Episode 1 ?

I agree, blood and chrome was this strange setup. It came out if memory serves (although I might be wrong) as webisodes and was released on the web (a sort of early version of streaming services). I think Amanda Tapping was the one who came up with the idea of webisodes (although she had afaik nothing to do with this show). She used it to get her own brainchild Sanctuary out before it got picked up and re-done as a real tv-show. Both were amazing to me because it felt like actors were breaking free of the bonds of big networks and studios who had a habit of cancelling even successful shows (especially Sci-Fi ones). Think Stargate, Roswell, oh too many to name.

Amazon chose to combine the two movie length episodes into one LONG 3hr movie, but its not nessisary to watch them that way if you find them split into two separate episodes elsewhere. Just make sure when you find them, make sure they are good quality. Some bootleg?pirate sites have VERY bad quality for their movies and shows.

2024-11-06 22:51:37 +0000 UTCDasha, just in case you didn't look it up already, Torchwood is a spin-off to the British cult TV-series Doctor Who. And while Doctor Who and Torchwood is great and definitely worth watching (and I'm pretty sure you would love that unique mix of SciFi, Drama, British humour and so much else), the whole Doctor Who universe it's a rabbit hole, you need time and commitment.

While you kinda need to at least not hate sci-fi to enjoy Battlestar, you don't have to like sci-fi at all to love The Expanse. Though being a sci-fi fan certainly makes it that much better, everything about The Expanse is incredible. One of the best shows ever made. Period.

2024-11-06 04:29:04 +0000 UTCYep the mini series is two MOVIE lenght episodes, which is what the producers originally intended. On amazon they combined both episodes to be one 3hr long movie though. I hope you enjoy it! The show is a wild ride. Then season 1 starts after the mini series.

The producers combined both episodes to be a movie. After this. The first episode of season 1 is called "33" All them are on amazon prime for free with subscription.

Looks like to get the chronologic sequence you have to watch Caprica, then Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome, then finally Battlestar Galactica 2003 series. 2024-11-06 03:14:27 +0000 UTCI believe the movie is from the 1978 version of Battlestar Galactica which was then followed by a (1978-1979) TV series, then followed by a TV series titled "Galactica 1980." With the 2003 version you start right into the mini-series.

I could use a new show to watch, although Yellowstone is first. I watch that one with Katy and we don't have many shows in common to watch. Patrons, I hope you're right about Battlestar Galactica.
