Patreon Poll: Movies from 50s and one more about movies 50s

Last week's winner will be watched over the weekend.

Remember, you can vote for more than 1 movie, and don't worry if the movie you voted for doesn't win! because don't forget, I do 3 movies a week ;)

Comments

I was too late to vote, but still, I think the polling looks about right. Good job chat!

Mr. Joshua Bucher

I can only speak for myself on this. Natalia's debut was great, was successful, it was something new & different, and she seems to be a very cool and likeable person... but I am a Patron here because of the Reaction Channels that I've seen, Dasha is the best of them. I don't support this Channel for anyone else, and I assume that is true for a lot of people that are here. I hope to see her numbers reflect what I believe they should be, but if not I imagine she will still have her core audience. 💪

Michael@GetFitwithDogs

I have to agree here Dasha. I think while it's great to see positive outcome with your sister. It may have put you in a spot where viewrship may be great only when your sister shows up. Of course we love it when it's just you but that video had amazing reach. With that said, the important thing is, to just focus on enjoying yourself and brining on your sister when you can and when she wants to. Don't let lack of viewership In videos where it's just you discourage you. The YouTube algorithm isn't fair lol.

Thats MR. Baldamort

Not sure if Dasha will see this, but you may have put yourself in an odd situation. People are subscribing and watching because of your collaboration with your sister. Now the situation is, your videos won't do well unless your sister is in them. I mean we won't know that for sure until you upload another one with Natalia, but your puss in boots video is back to what viewrship is normally like, and several people just comment wondering where you sister is lol. So my suggestion is, try not to worry about views too much yet. We know you can't make every video with your sister. Just enjoy yourself. Viewes will always be up and down. Like some people here say, that people directly supporting you on patreon is just as important.

JokesterHollywood

Another vote for Gremlins here. And yes it is a Christmas movie.

Tony Rossell

Oh what? Is someone else finally going to react to roman holiday 😶 its literally the perfect movie

Fantomex

yes right??? she is a superstar

Dasha

It's awesome to see that Natalia's debut is going to hit 40k views on YouTube in 24 hours since it was posted! 💪

Michael@GetFitwithDogs

Everyone has it right. It's a horror/comedy that takes place during Christmas. It's not a serious movie, but it takes itself seriously in the movie. Just a fun popcorn flick. I watch it every November since it's not quite a Halloween movie but not fully a Christmas movie either.

Michael@GetFitwithDogs

The Queen's Gambit was excellent. I wasn't so sure going in, but I really like Anya Taylor-Joy and I really enjoyed it. Good call.

Todd Schellbach

Rear Window was a great movie. Also, Vertigo and The Birds (which I remember her not recognizing a clip of in a recent movie we watched.)

Todd Schellbach

I'm sure she'll enjoy it.

Todd Schellbach

It's technically a horror movie but it's not too bad. So don't worry. More like a fun cartoon style horror. I watched it as a kid and it didn't scare me. So you should be okay.

CMB76

Gremlins is a Christmas movie, a horror movie and a comedy all rolled in one. You wont know how that can be until you see it. Trust us. You will love it. A perfect movie for you and your sister to watch together for the channel!

Thats MR. Baldamort

I watched the first part of mini series last night , IT IS GOOD

Dasha

Gotcha ! Gremlins is xmas movie ?

Dasha

I'll back you on Gremlins. I just watched it a few days ago. Classic!

Michael@GetFitwithDogs

I think its one of the best decisions you made for your channel. not sure why your viewership is low otherwise. Youtube algorithm is strange because you really are severely underrated for how good you are at this. I hope you still love doing this hobby despite the views. plus you have lots of us directly supporting you here too which i think is equally important :)

Thats MR. Baldamort

I've only seen about three of these. I would say North by Northwest is my favorite of the bunch. Since Christmas is quickly approaching, I also want to put in my humble request for Gremlins again. I'm pretty sure you haven't seen that one...

CMB76

It probably won't win this time around, but does anyone have any predictions on what Dasha will think of Pleasantville? Odds that she will say that it seems like a great place to live? :-) (Take the underlying message out of the movie. I'm just referring to how friendly everyone is.)

Michael@GetFitwithDogs

I love the idea of Tony Scott poll. Dash, be sure to include "Days of Thunder" on it! That's is my fav Tony Scott movie! Tom Cruise stars in it

CaptainPlanet

Right ?!!! I am so happy it is increasing the reach. I think that maybe posting couple more videos with my sister will help the channel since the views keep dropping down

Dasha

Dasha, your youtubr video with your sister is POPPING OFF! So many people love it! ❤️❤️

Thats MR. Baldamort

+1 for What's Up, Doc? (1972). I love that movie and haven't seen it in forever ! Also, this poll has no bad choices.

Beddoe

This poll is great. I watched some of these movies with my grandmother before she passed away so it will be fun to relive them with you Dasha. Stay awesome and bring your sister back!

Thats MR. Baldamort

Dasha should do a "Tony Scott" poll. Lots of amazing movies from him. He directed the first Top Gun and Man on Fire.

Thats MR. Baldamort

I'd love for her to react to Hardcore Henry, which was filmed in Russia. Love to hear her take on it.

Jeromy M

A lot of great options on this poll! If I might suggest some other 50's options for the future: sci-fi classic "The Day the Earth Stood Still" (1951), and perhaps the mystery/thriller "Rear Window" (1954).

Aaron D

The Queen's Gambit is an excellent suggestion! The only hurdle on that is it's a miniseries and it looks like the next series has already been chosen. We may have to wait awhile for that one. It was very good though. Plus, the Russians were not portrayed as the villains in that one. They were treated respectfully.

Michael@GetFitwithDogs

Yes, this is a poll I can really get behind, but then again, I'm an old fart! 🤣 Let's do polls for other decades as well, especially '60s, '70s, '40s & even older. You HAVE to see 'Gone With the Wind' one of these fine days! FWIW, movies like Jackass aren't my taste, I know I'm in the minority here, but I couldn't watch it after 15 minutes. Natalya, however, should definitely join you anytime, Dasha! Requests: What's Up, Doc? (1972) Being John Malcovich (1999) Adaptation (2001) Magnolia (1999) Also, I highly recommend the 7-episode miniseries 'The Queen's Gambit'. You'd enjoy it, & not just because there is a prominent Russian component in it, but I do love to see you relate to things Russian. 😊💖

LaserLamb

I'm out of my element on this one, folks! I'm interested to see what you all choose.

Michael@GetFitwithDogs

Ben Hur is a must see.

Patrick Anderson

Hey guys I am happy that you are cool with the poll, I wasn’t sure what your reaction would be

Dasha

Let’s do it !

Dasha

I chose all them. I hope I helped. all of them are great. Looking forward to BSG fam!

CaptainPlanet

Brother! This poll. North by fucking north west baby!

Nims

I think this poll is cool as shit. If I may, I've seen Tron and Tron Legacy requested. Dasha if you watch the classic Tron. You MUST watch the sequal that came 30 years later. Tron Legacy inspired Tom Cruise to make Top Gun Maverick.

JokesterHollywood

This one is easy for me. North by Northwest all the way.

Daniel Fisher

Really all the ones from the 50s are top-notch so I hope you see all of them at some point.

Robert Jewell

Gotta go with NxNW with the great Carey Grant. Another cool Cary Grant movie from the 50’s is “To Catch a Thief” which stars Princess Grace - who like M. Night Shyamalan is a Philadelphia legend.

Doce

Une excellente décennie 50's,ça me donne envie de revoir The thing (la version de 1951) 🛸

FredLeChouan

Oh man this is a good list. I gotta go with Singin in the Rain cause but North by Northwest is amazing too.

Thomas

Yes, please.

SpiffMan

Awesome classics!

Thats MR. Baldamort

I hope you will consider a David Fincher poll at some time in the future. Not all of his films are scary or thrillers.

ButtercupsTrueLove

I'd love a Wes Anderson movies poll. He directed Grand Budapest
