I say it a lot, but you NEED to watch Rosemary's baby. It will haunt you for life.

I think I agree with that, Troy. A bad comedy is the worst.

The reason there are not as many good horror movies statistically is because there are so many horror movies made. What filmmakers have found is that it can be relatively cheap to make a horror film, and there can be a sizable payoff on that investment. You can film a low-grade slasher movie for next to nothing, because a lot of them are just a handful of unknown young actors running around in the woods, which costs relatively very little. And then they get them put on a Tubi or a Horror Central. And of course if the director has any talent, it might get them a cushier gig later. Generally speaking, I think I would rather watch a bad horror movie than a bad comedy or drama.

They will make big reactions. One would be completely spooked and the other would be repulsed.

Hereditary and Terrifier are two movies I would love to see her react to.

I also love horror movies. It's my favorite genre, and I always look forward to Halloween season when I binge horror movies almost every night.
The only problem with horror movies is that there aren't as many good ones as compared to quality movies in other genres. When they're done right, they are so much fun.
I may have to update my recommendation list to add a few horror movies. The only reason I didn't have any on my list was because I typically do not watch horror movies except around Halloween season.
The greatest horror movie ever in my opinion was the Exorcist. It was such a high quality movie, and the fact it was made in the 70s was even more impressive. I know that this one was already reacted to on this Channel.
The most unsettled I ever was watching a horror movie was with "The Grudge" (2004). I can watch it fine now, but that first time I watched it when I was younger was pretty brutal.
I think "The Ring" (2002) was extremely well made. It has it's disturbing moments, but it actually is a pretty slow movie. It's not relentless like The Grudge can be. The Ring was a higher quality movie than The Grudge, but less disturbing.
Supernatural horror is the best horror. Both The Ring and The Grudge are supernatural horror. I've never been as big a fan of the slasher horror, like Halloween, Friday the 13th, or the Terrifier. I'm not saying that they aren't good, but just less my cup of tea.
If you like suspenseful horror, you can try "The Purge" (2013) or "The Strangers" (2008).

Im paraphrasing how Dashas mind operates:
Dasha : "I cant sleep with the lights off after horror movies"
Also Dasha: "FUCK IT, I am addicted to the adrenaline" 😂
