Yes please!

Thomas

Hey happy thanksgiving to all you americans who celebrate it!

Thats MR. Baldamort

I think the solution is obvious. We need to form two Patreon teams and play a game of football in front of Dasha, explaining all the rules to her as we go...😉

Troy Hickman

At least get the basics of the rules before you watch Rudy, its also based on a true story. very moving movie. People say its not important to know the rules for this movie, but we also said the same for many sports movies you seen and you still got confused, and we dont like to see you confused xD

Thats MR. Baldamort

Yeah I think it’s about time. I watched so many football movies, I should know the basics by now. I will look up on YouTube

Dasha

We need Vertigo (1958) very soon!

Shehab Dawoud

Yet more classics!

Thomas McBride

I love older movies, and Alfred Hitchcock is the master of suspense, so you can't go wrong with any of his films. You should check out Rear Window (1954), Vertigo (1958), and The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956). All right, it's obvious I'm a Jimmy Stewart fan.

Eddie Perkins

Mr Smith Goes to Washington is a great movie.

Eddie Perkins

Great reaction.

Tom Hartley

I agree about “Cool Hand Luke.”

Tom Hartley

If you liked Eva Marie Saint you should check out “On the Waterfront,” another great film from the 1950s.

Tom Hartley

This movie was a fun watch. My first time viewing. It had a lot more humor than I was expecting. Dasha had a great reaction to a cold watchalong. Some interesting casting choices - WHEN WORLDS COLLIDE, y'all... Actors Leo G. Carroll, Ed Platt, and Martin Landau, respectively as the boss of "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." TV series, the Chief of CONTROL from "Get Smart" TV series, and an agent of the "Mission: Impossible" TV series team.

I don't know if everyone here celebrates Thanksgiving, but to those that do... HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Have a great Holiday, and be safe! The day after Thanksgiving is notoriously one of the most dangerous days to be out on the road. The amount of people out driving after having drinks is way higher than normal, so be safe!

I hope you get hooked on the director's films, Alfred Hitchcock. If you do, he always makes a cameo appearance, like Stan Lee in the Marvel movies. Be sure to check ahead of time just in case you get one of his films. In this one, he appears at the end of the opening credits trying to get into a cab (or was it a bus?) and the door closes on him, lol.

Great list, Troy! Speaking of Paul Newman, I don't think Dasha has yet watched "The Sting" (1973), for a rousing good time!

ButtercupsTrueLove

Yeah, I thought about that too. I do think someone who doesn't know anything about football can still watch this and love it, though, as the rules of football have very little to do with it. It's mainly about determination and having faith.

Troy Hickman

Rudy is so good. Dasha should look up American football rules first just to not be as confused and just have some bit of basic understanding of the sport.

While I'm thinking about it, Dasha, I'd like to suggest a few of my favorite movies. I don't think you've done any of these yet. Cool Hand Luke - a beautiful movie about the human spirit. Paul Newman is the title character, a man in prison in a Southern chain gang. Rudy - a real feel-good movie. Sean Astin is a very small young man trying to play on the Notre Dame football team. My Favorite Year - set in the 1950s, this comedy features Peter O'Toole as a problematic movie star appearing on a TV show. Sinister - one of the best horror movies of recent years. Really scary, but without being gory. The Buddy Holly Story - Gary Busey was nominated for an Oscar for his portrayal of the great Buddy Holly, a musical genius way ahead of his time. Mr Smith Goes to Washington - my all-time favorite movie. It's from 1939, and features Jimmy Stewart as a very honest man who becomes a senator. If you're like me, bring some Kleenex.
