Totally normal movie for an 80s kid. Trauma makes you remember you are real.

Mr. Joshua Bucher

I watched this as a kid, and yes, Artax dying in the swamp was traumatizing as hell.

"This movie isn't for kids! We have dead horses and boobs" I can't even stop looking at them ๐Ÿ˜‚

I put on this reaction for Katy after we got home from Thanksgiving dinner at her sisterโ€™s house last night. Sheโ€™s a fan of this movie and Dashaโ€™s is one of the few Reaction Channels that she likes, so I played it to see what she thought. Keep in mind that we were a little bit tipsy at this point. Katyโ€™s biggest reaction was in response to how Dasha handled Artax drowning. She was half watching the reaction and half editing last nightโ€™s photos on her phone when the scene played out. She looked up from her phone when Dasha said very seriously, โ€œThat is such a vicious death, the horse drowned.โ€ and Katy started laughing out loud. Not in a mean-spirited way, but because she looked up at the screen to see Dasha sitting there with an angry look on her face and her arms crossed. It was not the reaction that she was expecting to see, which was why she laughed. I suppose thatโ€™s part of what makes someone a good reactor. Even if you are familiar with their reactions, they still can surprise you with a genuine emotional response to a powerful scene. I think she was expecting tears like so many others had when they watched that scene. Instead Dasha crossed her arms and got angry.

Sadly I couldn't sync with your version at all ๐Ÿ˜ž. Yours was the "German" version.

I first watched this movie when I was about 7 years old. Loved the reaction, it's a little silly, but that's not a bad thing as a kid to watch. I'm the young sibling, my older sisters would show me movies, Dark Crystal (78%) is creepy as hell, but pretty good too. But, Secret of Nihm (93% on rotten tomatoes)as well. If you want dark childrens movies.
