Xmassss Mood - Finally !
Added 2024-12-06 14:00:12 +0000 UTCI thought it is time to get into Xmas mood :) I didnt include the movie "Gremlins" because you have been suggesting it for a while, so I will watch it without it winning the poll,
Last week's winner will be watched over the weekend.
Remember, you can vote for more than 1 movie, and don't worry if the movie you voted for doesn't win! because don't forget, I do 3 movies a week ;)

Please react to the black & white version of "It's A Wonderful life". The colorized version loses all the charm of an old movie. Thanks

2024-12-09 20:51:56 +0000 UTCI'm watching this now. I love this line: Scrooge: "But how have I changed towards you?!" Belle: "By changing towards the world!" ❤️ Incredible writing.

2024-12-08 23:02:32 +0000 UTCThis just popped up as a recommended video on my YouTube feed. It is some media personality ranking about a dozen or so Christmas movies. No spoilers. I don't agree with everything on this list, but I would still say that it's a pretty fair list. I especially like his enthusiasm for Alastair Sim's Scrooge 1951 as the greatest Christmas movie of all time as well as possibly a Top 10 movie ever. Here is that video if anyone wants to check it out: https://youtu.be/XBN51bZC25w?si=NBmzcmB-1wgMtMDU A great thing about Scrooge 1951 is anyone can watch it for free on YouTube. Here it is if anyone wants to watch it: https://youtu.be/oPDNKbdW9P0?si=1NetHwPGN6f89Ip4 Dasha, if you end up watching A Christmas Carol (any of them) you will hear the word "humbug". If you don't know this word-as it isn't used much anymore-it means a sham or a fraud. You could even say it means something like "bullshit".

2024-12-08 15:48:13 +0000 UTCI'd like to recommend a foreign film for the future. It's called 'Tampopo' and it's a Japanese comedy made up of many vignettes all about food. It's one of those films that is sure to make you hungry as you watch it.

2024-12-08 08:08:26 +0000 UTCI watch The Ref every year. I wish someone would react to it, but I especially wish Dasha would. My favorite reactor reacting to my favorite Christmas movie.

2024-12-08 06:47:01 +0000 UTCIt’s what everyone would’ve voted. It’s a classic

Lee Pitman
2024-12-07 09:51:14 +0000 UTCToo bad Scrooged didn't get back on this poll. Also The Ref is another Christmas movie for you to keep in mind (it's my favorite Christmas movie).
Tony Rossell
2024-12-07 09:04:12 +0000 UTCJ'aurais bien voté pour life of Brian (un de mes films préférés) mais Dasha a déjà fait une réaction, je suis impatient de découvrir le vainqueur de ce sondage.

2024-12-07 08:08:33 +0000 UTCThe Muppets Christmas Carol, anyone?

2024-12-07 06:55:08 +0000 UTCIt's A Wonderful Life has a sibling connection. Great movie to react with your sister.

2024-12-07 05:23:04 +0000 UTCNot sure if you'll see this Dasha, so while it's holiday season, it's also Football season too, so i want to request you do your American Footbal homework and learn the basics of the sport because I'm going to request one of the coolest sports true story movies called "invincible" a 2006 movie starring Mark Wahlberg.

Eddie Perkins
2024-12-06 20:45:30 +0000 UTCI'm happy mine is in first place for now; I'm a big Jimmy Stewart fan. You should also watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989)
Eddie Perkins
2024-12-06 20:42:46 +0000 UTCActually the slasher version and it's sequel are kind of fun, but I think the goofy Factor may be a bit much for a reaction here.
Troy Hickman
2024-12-06 20:04:20 +0000 UTCIt would be funny if she watched Jack Frost but accidentally watched the slasher version. I can just see her reaction now... "What am I watching?!" 😂
Michael@GetFitwithDogs
2024-12-06 18:37:07 +0000 UTCGood luck, Jokester! I'm not in the Reaction editing, but I do edit my videos on Akitas and Dog Training. I'm not very good at the editing. It's a great skill to have and I'm working to improve. You're probably much better at it than I am. Keep us updated on how you're doing!

2024-12-06 18:11:45 +0000 UTCOur trees went up on November 1st and I posted the pictures on my Patreon page to prove it. LOL! Christmas time is too much fun. Love the music, love the lights, love the cold, love the movies, love the family time. Everyone should do it! :) Besides, it's a lot of work for just a few weeks - especially if you have 6 xmas trees like we do.
Michael@GetFitwithDogs
2024-12-06 18:04:56 +0000 UTCHey everyone, I know this is random but today I built my first PC on my own this week, this may sound corny but Dasha and a few others reactors have inspired me to try editing reaction content (specifically my own) I won't give away my channel details it's not the same as my patreon name, but I just want to say that it has been so fun being in the reaction space and being apart of a couple of the communities especially this one. I hope everybody has a great amazing Holiday! Looking forward to lots of reaction content from Dasha and her sister!
JokesterHollywood
2024-12-06 17:54:31 +0000 UTCI think it will hit right at home for you. Its a comedy family movie. It hits all the right spots for a feel good time

Dasha
2024-12-06 17:39:38 +0000 UTCI would like to also request "Jack Frost" (1998) for a holiday/ Winter time of year movie.
Thats MR. Baldamort
2024-12-06 17:38:13 +0000 UTCJingle all the way is fun.

2024-12-06 17:24:59 +0000 UTCHow can you have a 🎄 poll without "White Christmas" best Xmas movie ever
Joseph Powell
2024-12-06 16:20:05 +0000 UTCI was kind of hoping for a Texas Chainsaw Massacre Christmas, until I realized such a movie does not exist. Oh well. At least the movies I am most interested in are winning the poll. Hey Dasha, are you going to send out Christmas cards with a picture of Hugo wearing a Santa hat? 😉
Troy Hickman
2024-12-06 15:55:07 +0000 UTCThe list is missing a lot of the best, but it still has some good ones. You're right to point out A Christmas Story. There is also: Scrooge (1951) >The best of all of the Christmas Carol adaptations Miracle of 34th Street (1947) >The original! How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) >Jim Carey in his prime How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (animated, 1966) >The original! Jack Frost (1998) >stars one of my very very VERY few Hollywood crushes, the late Kelly Preston :( Prancer (1989) >Not as well known, but a very good Christmas movie. I don't know why, but the end gets me every time. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989) >Dasha has already seen "Vacation" and this follows the same family on Christmas. Scrooged (1988) >A wild and absurd movie, but still a lot of fun. The Santa Clause (1994) >TBH, it's the only one of the trilogy that I think is top level. The Family Man (2000) >A much deeper Christmas movie. The Shop Around the Corner (1940) >A classic, but one I haven't been sold on completely, but so many others swear by it and it might be more in line with Dasha's tastes. The Christmas Chronicles (2018) >Kurt Russell as Santa? What's not to like?! Even though Dasha hasn't watched "Bad Moms", I would forgive that if she still watched "A Bad Mom's Christmas", simply for the laughs. That movie is INSANE and every year when Katy and I have drinks but can't agree on a Christmas movie to watch, I throw it on and we both laugh our asses off.
Michael@GetFitwithDogs
2024-12-06 15:30:45 +0000 UTCoh! Happy Holidays to you Dasha! Is there a Christmas tree going up in the apartment this year?
Thats MR. Baldamort
2024-12-06 15:04:45 +0000 UTCI've been in the Xmas mood since November 1st, and it STILL feels way too short of a season. 🤷♂️
Michael@GetFitwithDogs
2024-12-06 14:51:51 +0000 UTCWish all 3 leaders could get watched but that’s probably asking too much with Gremlins already on the schedule. I’m hoping tho!
Shehab Dawoud
2024-12-06 14:50:21 +0000 UTCThis list is missing the best Christmas movie of all time - A Christmas Story (1983). Absolute classic.
Doce
2024-12-06 14:31:52 +0000 UTCI'm very surprised that Miracle on 34th Street (1947) is not in the poll. It's probably the most iconic Christmas movie ever.
DWG15
2024-12-06 14:30:41 +0000 UTCJingle all the way is such a chaotic christmas movie. That is my first choice along with home alone 2 and Its a wonderful life. Cant go wrong with any of them!
JokesterHollywood
2024-12-06 14:19:53 +0000 UTCAww, polar express is the most christmas movie on this poll. Such an iconic movie. Sad that it's not doing well.
Tali
2024-12-06 14:13:52 +0000 UTCDear Dasha, It's a Wonderful Life is absolutely an essential film to watch at Christmastime. Didn't know you haven't seen it, but it's pretty much the first Christmas movie anybody should see.
