I know a lot of things, but this is outside of my wheelhouse. I had no problem with the other riddles in the movie, but I'm afraid in this case I might have let New York down...π

2024-12-16 05:37:11 +0000 UTC4 Gallon riddle is pretty easy. fill 5 gal, pour it into the 3 gallon, now you have 3 in 3 and 2 in 5. pour out the 3 gallon container and put the 2 gallons into it. Now fill the 5 again.now you have 5 in the 5 and 2 in the 3. Fill up the 3 gallon from the 5 and you have 3 in the 3 and the required 4 in the 5, done!

My brain just doesn't work in that way. I, too, get teary-eyed when I watch the scene where the bomb expert decides to stick around and try to save the kids. For my money, that guy is the biggest hero in the movie. I think you referred to this as the second movie, but it is actually the third. You may not remember, but you watched the second Die Hard movie over a year ago. It's easy to forget though, because it's not as good as the original or the third one. Bruce Willis and Samuel Jackson have a great chemistry together. Of course, they were also together in Pulp Fiction, but they didn't actually have any scenes together. I'm not surprised that you really liked this movie. The director, John Mctiernan, not only directed this and the original Die Hard, but he also directed Predator and The Hunt for Red October, both of which you liked. Thank you for a terrific Sunday afternoon pick me up. You are not just a reactor; you are a nuclear reactor! π
