I am a paid member on 17 Patreon channels and a free member on many more. In total, I regularly watch videos from about 80 different creators. Here is an "information overload" list of creators that I like. Male and male/female duos. (I also have a list of about 55 female creators that I frequent) https://www.patreon.com/c/TargetAudience/posts https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqga_-_0bomoiX8uEnIRNaQ/videos https://www.patreon.com/c/EOMedia/posts https://www.youtube.com/@EOMReacts/videos https://www.patreon.com/c/baddmedicine/posts https://www.youtube.com/@BaddMedicine/videos https://www.patreon.com/c/TheCocoaCouch/home https://www.youtube.com/@thecocoacouch/videos https://www.patreon.com/c/CamAndZay/posts https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCT_3hY2ubI3eW3r9qBdgnhA/videos https://www.patreon.com/c/PillowHero/home https://www.youtube.com/@PillowHero-jd6ie/videos https://www.patreon.com/c/BossMovieReactions/home https://www.youtube.com/@BossMovieReactions/videos https://www.patreon.com/c/justtrustash/home https://www.youtube.com/@justtrustash/videos https://www.patreon.com/c/mjoy4fun/home https://www.youtube.com/c/MJoy4Fun/videos https://www.patreon.com/c/TBR_Schmitt/posts https://www.youtube.com/c/TBRSchmitt/videos https://www.patreon.com/c/Cinebinge/posts https://www.youtube.com/c/CineBingeReact/videos https://www.patreon.com/c/user/home?u=80969409 https://www.youtube.com/@popculturallychallenged/videos https://www.patreon.com/c/MaplenutsReact/home https://www.youtube.com/@maplenutsreact/videos https://www.patreon.com/c/MrValentineReacts/home https://www.youtube.com/@MrValentineReacts/videos https://www.patreon.com/c/ptthatswhatshesaid/home https://www.youtube.com/@ptthatswhatshesaid/videos https://www.patreon.com/c/jamesvscinema/home https://www.youtube.com/@JamesVSCinema/videos https://www.patreon.com/c/RamblersInc/home https://www.youtube.com/@RamblersInc/videos https://www.youtube.com/@ITSMRVIDEO-rg9ms/videos https://www.youtube.com/@shandoratthecinema4098/videos https://www.patreon.com/hthardman https://www.youtube.com/@HoldenHardman/videos https://www.patreon.com/casualnerdreactions https://www.youtube.com/@CasualNerdReactions/videos https://www.patreon.com/asiaandbj https://www.youtube.com/@ReelinwithAsiaandBJ/videos https://www.patreon.com/Henryellow https://www.youtube.com/@henryellow/videos https://www.patreon.com/thosesiblings https://www.youtube.com/@thosesiblingss/videos https://www.patreon.com/ThePerfectMix https://www.youtube.com/@theperfectmixx/videos https://www.patreon.com/OliverandKylie https://www.youtube.com/@OliverandKylie/videos

Gotta remember, people vote not just for favorites, but for a movie they think will get a good reaction from her.

puppers

I don't watch male reactions. Females show more emotion, which is what I want to see. Makes it way more interesting to know people react the same way as I did. Men try to hide it or fake it.

puppers

I don't know about anyone else, but I found movie reactions AFTER I was watching music reactions. I had favorite vocalists and I wanted to see what other people thought when hearing that amazing voice for the first time. After doing music reactions it occurred to me to also look up favorite movies.

Michael@GetFitwithDogs

That's true, I am certain there are a lot of female reactors that aren't being honest as well. This is why I am typically drawn to reactors that are not American. It's easier to believe someone like Dasha, who is not from the West, when they tell you that they didn't watch a lot of American movies growing up. Another one I trust is Kamilla (Centane) who comes across as very genuine and likeable as a person. Cassie from Popcorn in Bed is probably the only Western reactor that I trust. For the guys, it's even harder for me to accept. I could poll the 500 or so male friends/family/acquaintances on my Facebook about whether or not they saw the Matrix and easily 99% of them will have seen it. So when I see a male reactor from the West say they've never seen it I'm like, "Sure, dude." However, if I polled my female friends/family/acquaintances I bet probably half of them have never seen a movie like the Matrix. This fact just makes it harder (IMO) to trust the male reactors. Authenticity is huge for me. As a lover of movies, I want to see what someone's first experience with a favorite movie is really like. I want to see the "Oh shit!" moment when Doc Holiday is the one who shows up to confront Johnny Ringo in a duel rather than Wyatt Earp. I don't want to see a performance, I want to see the real reaction. It makes watching the scene with them almost like reliving it for the first time myself. But, as I said, there are a few male reactors that I do like. "Nick Reacts" is good (particularly when he has his girlfriend on with him) and I like the "React 2.0" Channel. If anyone has any they'd like to suggest, I am open to hearing it. In response to your thoughts about Dasha herself... she wasn't my favorite early on. I think the first time I saw her reaction was when I was looking up reactions to Lord of the Rings. I had seen Cassie's reaction and liked it, so I searched other reactors. When I first saw Dasha my initial thought was wondering if she was faking her accent. Sorry, I'm skeptical. So much of what you see online is fake. I learned pretty early on that she wasn't faking her accent. I started to enjoy her content more because of her tears, oddly enough. I felt that her crying on scenes or movies showed a person who was genuinely affected by what she was watching. She either was a tremendous actress or she was giving the world her true feelings in that moment. That's how I became a fan of hers. She made me believe her.

Michael@GetFitwithDogs

I only watch a handful of reactors. All 3 of them are woman, but I'm not going to say that men are only faking it when there is plenty of evidence that plenty of female reactors do as well. I won't name names of course but the reason I watch so few is because other than finding somebody really empathetic and connected to the films they watch, which are my perosnal tastes when it comes to reactors, it's hard to find somebody that actually seems invested in the movies and work they do. Not a fan of Hollywood snob reactors or reactors who just do it for the grind or come off as holiar than thou. When it comes to Dasha, sure there are some cristism on how she communicates to her supporters a bit but 90% of what i love about her is she really gets invested in every film she watches and seems to really love making movies and TV show reactions. I just don't connect to men the same way as woman either. Not sure if that's odd to say, from a guys perspective but I hope that makes sense a bit lol.

Thats MR. Baldamort

Does anyone know of any good male reactors? I have a hard time with them, mostly because I have a hard time BELIEVING them. When a dude posts a Marvel movie as "First Time Watching" I cannot help but be like, "Really, dude?" ESPECIALLY if they're American. Movies are just too ingrained into our culture and for males especially. Most movies I enjoy are movies that pretty much every guy I know has watched as well. More than that, the type of guy who is interested in YouTube - at least IMO - is even MORE likely to have watched a lot of movies and shows. All of this just makes me skeptical of male reactors. Therefore, I usually require something a little extra convincing to watch that content. There are a few channels that feature men from the Pakistan/India border reacting to stuff, including movies. "React 2.0" While I am not convinced movies are new to all of these guys, there are a few men that appear as guests on there that I believe are seeing this stuff for the first time. I suppose my favorite male reactor would be Nick Reacts, although I still believe he has seen some of these movies before. He gets around it by showing movies to his girlfriend who I believe hasn't seen most of the stuff on the channel. Thoughts on male reactors?

Michael@GetFitwithDogs

I'm kinda sad she never did Rosemary's Baby,(97% rotten tomatos, 96% rating on metacritic) but she did The Descent that had far fewer votes on her poll. I hope she will do that and "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" with Depp and Leonardo Dicaprio, and more. And a Wes Anderson movies poll would be really fun too. I'd vote "Bottle Rocket" first, but almost all his movies are good.

puppers

Hello All, Dasha so hope if you ever react with "What About Bob?" your Sister is with you as you both shall laugh so hard.

Danny

No, you didn't miss any post, or if you have I missed it too. I was wondering about it myself, especially since she did the second place movie (Die Hard with a Vengeance).

Tony Rossell

The check is in the mail..

Troy Hickman

Oh yeah forgot about that movie lol.

Thats MR. Baldamort

Hey all, did I miss an update about Big Trouble in Little China? I know it won a poll but I don't remember seeing it. Was there a post about it not coming out?

Michael@GetFitwithDogs

You are preaching to the choir, brother. Yes, I love being in a cool room and sliding under the covers. And yes, it would be even better if there was somebody there to snuggle with, but unfortunately at the moment that's not in the cards. This may sound a little dopey, but I think you'll understand it. Let me tell you about a single moment in my life that was quite sublime. I live in Lafayette indiana, but occasionally when I was in college at Purdue, a few of my friends and I would travel down to Ball State to hang out over the weekend with some of our other friends. I remember one time when we were there, it was time for everybody to go to bed. One of the dorm rooms was completely empty and so I got to sleep in there. The guy who normally lived in there had the ultimate stereo system, so I was able to put on some great music. The refrigerator was well stocked with stuff, so I had myself an awesome snack (and yes, I know I probably should have felt bad for eating this poor guy's food). I laid down in the bed and the window was open so there was this wonderful briskness coming in, but at the same time there was a heater right next to the bed, so I was kept nice and warm while the cold air struck my face. Heck, I even found the guys stash of pornography.. cough cough ... Not that I would have looked at it of course. It sounds like a simple thing, but the whole experience has stuck with me all this time. It's those little moments that really make this life a wonderful thing.

Troy Hickman

It's on the agenda! ❤️

Michael@GetFitwithDogs

If you ever get the chance, do what my dad and mom just did, get a hot top outdoors. It was 10 degrees yesterday in god ole iowa and we get in the hot top and had some drinks.

Thats MR. Baldamort

Yes! Everyone that I speak to about this in the Midwest thinks that I'm crazy! They're all allergic to the cold or something. But there is something very different between being hot and trying to cool off... and being cold trying to warm up. If I'm feeling hot, maybe a jump in a pool feels good, but it doesn't feel NEARLY as good as being cold and getting under some warm blankets. I don't know if I have the words to describe it accurately, but there is a level of... comfort? that comes with it. A feeling of not wanting to be doing anything else and being exactly in the right place in that moment. Again, maybe I am just crazy. People around here absolutely think that I'm crazy for leaving my window open all night long when it's below freezing, but I love it. Unfortunately, my heated blanket died so I haven't done that yet this year. I could do it still with maybe 3 or 4 blankets on me, but the heated blanket is the best. I'll need to get a new one. Also, my male Akita, Kinjo, loves to sleep in that cold room with me. He doesn't get on the bed, but he will be sleeping at the foot of my bed no matter how cold it gets. Akitas live for the cold. We are having some first snows right now, so I'll have to get some videos of the Akitas out there playing in it posted soon.

Michael@GetFitwithDogs

I cant relate in the fact that no I dont like purposely freezing myself. However there is something soothing about being able to warm up, vs it being to hot and having a hard time trying to cool off. Especially in the summer.

Thats MR. Baldamort

Off topic: Does anyone else here LOVE being in a chilly room and either getting under warm blankets or snuggling up with your partner? I freaking love it. Unfortunately, Katy does not agree. I want to get our room chilly first, and then getting warm together under warm blankets. She can't stand the room being cold. She doesn't object to the snuggling part, but she does object the room getting cold first part. To me, there is something special about being chilly BEFORE getting warm. Last winter - since Katy doesn't like this - I would sometimes sleep in the guest bedroom and I would leave the window open all night long. Even if it would get down to 10 degrees Fahrenheit at night, I would still leave the window open all night long. I had a heated blanket and would sleep in a cold room - so cold I could see my breath! - but under WARM blankets. Something about breathing in that cold air all night but being covered in warm makes the night's sleep SO GOOD. I ask because while I love this, Katy does not. She wants the room warm all of the time. Am I weird, or does anyone else love this?

Michael@GetFitwithDogs

Dasha, I'm sure you know by now that you have two movies that stopped recording early.

Eddie Perkins

I watched it, should be up soon :)

Dasha

😄 And don't forget about Krampus

Eddie Perkins

I'm still waiting for Home Alone 2

DWG15

I'm hoping that if "Blast from the Past" doesn't win, that Dasha will still watch it one day :-)

Neversure

She said she would; I'm still holding my breath.

Eddie Perkins

I'm still hoping for Deliverance. Also, I would like a metal detector and a mini fridge for my bedroom...😉

Troy Hickman

I'm still hoping for Fast Times at Ridgemont High

Todd Schellbach

Then there's "The 41-year-old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It"

Todd Schellbach

I'm still waiting for Rear Window

Eddie Perkins

Dave is a real sentimental favorite of mine. Kevin Kline is always fun and it's such a sweet movie.

SpiffMan

But they know they need therapy for it. 🛋

LaserLamb

They're pissed off that you are pirating HBO...😉

Troy Hickman

Okay how the fuck is "black sheep losing"? Its almost as good as tommy boy

Fantomex

"What About Grumpy Old Cable Guys From the Past?" 😝

LaserLamb

Wholeheartedly agree :)

Sindre Kristiansen

Cable Guy is pretty dark.

LaserLamb

Blast from the Past is the obvious choice here. Dasha would love it!

DWG15

What About Bob is a great choice.

Patrick Anderson

I think my first choice is probably The Cable Guy, which is a really unusual dark comedy. After that, I'd have to say probably Grumpy Old Men, as it's hard to beat Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau (and yet somehow Burgess Meredith still manages to do it!).

Troy Hickman

What about Bob is my vote! Also Big Daddy is fun. Also yes, Dasha be sure to read coments about home alone 2 and krampus.

Thats MR. Baldamort

What About Bob is probably the best movie on here, but I think you'd really enjoy Blast From the Past.

Labcurmudgeon79

Dasha, Still no acknowledgement on Home alone or Krampus getting fixed? Home alone full length reaction is only 3 min in length and Krampus full length is cut about 20 min short. Hope you see this.

SR2 Prod.

I'll have to rewatch Cable Guy. I don't remember it is a comedy. It's getting a lot of votes. I think Dasha will really like the wholesomeness of Grumpy Old Men.

Chris Brinkley

Blast from the Past will have Dasha rolling with laughter, IMO. I'm voting for that reaction. 💪

Michael@GetFitwithDogs

Can you add Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves to upcoming votes? 👀
