I like this reaction. I've never seen this movie, so this is my first time. The movie is very interesting and so was the reaction. I especially liked Dasha's reaction to how James Stewart was treating his girlfriend when she was doing all of that work for him and he barely acknowledged anything that she did. Being in a relationship, I can tell you that this is a very important part of keeping your girl happy. But even more important, in my opinion, is noticing when your partner ISN'T acknowledging your efforts. Dasha is right to call this out. I cannot tell you how many girls I know who just accept their man not appreciating her. When a girl reaches a point to where she accepts her man's lack of appreciation it is just as sad as when a man doesn't appreciate his woman and takes her for granted. It bothers me when women settle for less than they deserve. My sister-in-law is in this situation right now. She won't take anyone's advice, she just stays in a poor situation even though she deserves better. This is why I appreciate how strongly Dasha was putting her foot down in this reaction. This is the right attitude.

I can tell you will really, really love SHADOW OF A DOUBT (black and white) which Hitchcock thought was his best film. You’ll totally get hooked in by that one. It’s an extremely enjoyable film that will have you biting your nails, totally immersed in the story.

Peter Gad

Dasha, the actress you liked so much, Grace Kelly, is in two must see Hitchcock films you will love: DIAL M FOR MURDER (color). -I can see you getting into this one. and…. TO CATCH A THIEF (color) -everyone loves this movie and it costars Cary Grant.

If you help me get To Kill a Mockingbird or Deliverance (1972), I will help you get Oppenheimer. I haven't seen Oppenheimer, but I'm sure it's a good movie.

Eddie Perkins

Alfred Hitchcock makes a cameo in almost all his movies. His cameo in Rear Window appears in the songwriter's apartment, where he winds a clock. I think it's cute that Dasha is comparing herself to Miss Lonely Heart, sitting across from her dog. Trust us, that's something you will never have to worry about—more like Miss Heartbreaker.

Eddie Perkins

Hitchcock was a master at the slow burn suspense. I hope you watch a few more of his films. You also might want to check out 'High Anxiety', a Mel Brooks comedy spoofing Hitchcock films.

Privet, Glad this was so enjoyed. Before the near level of special effects today ect films required a story that held the interest, make one wonder.

Yeah Dasha, as much as you enjoy new movies and i know ive mentioned Oppenhimer a lot but the reason you will love it, is even though its a new movie, the time period of it is set in the 40s and the 60s with mix of color and black and white. I know crazy right how could that be? I wont spoil anything about the context of it. Since its a true story but my point is, you have a love for these older style movie and I think we would love if you keep watching movies like this. Im so happy you continue to love them and I cant wait to see more!

What a wonderful reaction! I have much to say here. First of all, you might like to know that 2 years after this movie was made, Grace Kelly, who played Lisa, actually married the Prince of Monaco and became a real life princess, and a prettier one you're not likely to see! Dasha, you were so adorable trying to pronounce "jewelry." But I'll let you in on a little secret: a huge percentage of native English speakers pronounce it wrong as well. It is supposed to be pronounced the way that it is spelled, "jew-el-ry," but at least half the population and maybe more pronounces it "jew-ler-y." Thelma Ritter, who played the housekeeper, was a wonderful character actress. She also had a small but very memorable part in Miracle on 34th Street. As you may know, I often have personal stories about these movies, that I make you poor folks endure, and this one is no exception. Years ago I created a self-published comic book called Twilight Guardian. It was about a young woman who was convinced she was a superhero and every night would patrol a nine block area around her neighborhood. She never actually fought any real crimes, and arguably she might have been a little delusional, but I wanted to create a comic book where nothing really happens, but lots of things really happen, you know? Well, eventually one of the big comic companies, Image Comics wanted to publish their own version of it. But they wanted me to change it somewhat, and make it more like Rear Window, where an actual crime was committed. I held strong, though, because I love Rear Window, and I did not want to do a third rate imitation of it; I wanted to do first rate Troy Hickman. And the company already had a contract with me, so they went along with it, and it's still some of the work that I am most proud of. Anyway, I knew you were going to love this movie. That's one of the great things about your reactions; we've gotten to know you well enough to know how your tastes run, so generally speaking, we are not going to suggest movies that we know will be a waste of your time. Thanks so much for sharing this reaction with us. ♥️
