Maybe Hugo could be registered as an emotional support animal. For that matter, maybe I could be registered as an emotional support animal...😉

I'm much more into medieval/fantasy over sci-fi but I might give it a try.

Dasha must be camping in the woods in a 3rd world country if she hasnt had the chance to find any wifi yet. 😂🤣

Depending how long she is going to be gone, especially leaving the country, Im putting my money on her leaving Hugo with one of her friends. Seems the most logical answer to me. I dont picture Dasha taking hugo in a airplane and having to stash him in the cargo compartment all alone and unattended. Considering Dasha mentioning in past videos that Hugo gets really anxious when he is alone after a certain amount of time.

He does! Granted, I haven't seen how Hugo responds when guests show up or how he behaves when he's at a dog park around other dogs. From his brief appearances though, his energy seems very chill and laid back. I wonder how his energy changes when he sees prey animals, other dogs, or when there is a knock at the door. I haven't seen those situations, and dogs can sometimes reveal a lot more about their state of mind/personality when they are in a more challenging situation. Most people want a dog who is that chill all of the time. I can see the appeal, but since I am big on having a dog that functions as a protector of his pack, I don't mind a dog that can switch gears in situations that call for it. On any of my channels - and on my Patreon page - I posted a video of how my Akitas respond when a strange person tries to break in. My female did not respond the way I wanted her to, but my male did. He was actually pretty intimidating - which is what I wanted from him. When I set up to film it, I actually expected him to bark a lot. Instead he confronted the "intruder" with intense growling.

Hugo seems like a very chill dude.

So who is watching Hugo while Dasha is away? This is an issue I run into when I go on vacation. I either have to take my dogs with me (which is my preference!) or they have to stay with family. Akitas aren't typically dogs that you can put in a shelter or doggy daycare. They typically don't trust strangers and they also typically have little tolerance for other dogs. That limits my options on where they go. I'm sure Hugo is a lot easier than Akitas though. He probably adjusts very well. I've studied dog training and dog behavior a bit as a hobby, and my impression of Hugo is he is a pretty well balanced dog.

I think you should give Battlestar a try! Dasha is loving it too. Honestly more than what I thought she would.

Personally I found the end of this season as shocking or maybe more so than the red wedding. And while I'm not a Battlestar fan and would prefer you to go on with GoT I completely understand your reasoning and don't blame you for wanting a little break from this show. And enjoy your vacation!

My_Cousin_Mose

Hope Dasha is doing okay. Hopefully her leaving Canada is for travel/fun. I look forward to Battlestar. Safe travels too lovely Dasha.

JokesterHollywood

I think she will enjoy it more tbh. Its less dark and the pace of the show is quicker. Book readers have different opinion on it but i have not read the books nor Dasha, so from that perspective, I think season 6 is one of my fav seasons.

Enjoy your time away. Thank you for thinking of us, but if you can't post anything for awhile I'm sure most of us understand.

Tony Rossell

Knowing how she felt about S5, how do you think she will feel about S6 of GoT? Without spoilers, of course.

Michael@GetFitwithDogs

Either way, she is lucky. We had to wait 2 years for season 6 of game of thrones, everybody was impatient because of all the, hints and teases about you know what that I wont spoil but got everybody excited xD

Just got done watching this episode and okay, I agree with you to start the next season of Battlestar. Since this season was hard for you as you said here. I think the next season of Battlestar is a good change of pace. It wont take nearly as long to get through the next season with 2 episodes a week as you mentioned in your conclusion here. Safe travels again, Dasha.

Thats MR. Baldamort

Hope you have good traveling time. I think it would be good to switch tio BGa now, I would just recommend to do last two seasons of GoT together, they are shorter and little different. Also, now you are reaching the moment when current books finished, if you like the story, you could read the books as well, they are very good.

Ja Hu

I really think you should wait until after Season 6 to take a break for BSG. But I'm sure you'll enjoy whatever you end up going with.

About GoT... I never got to experience the show the way some people did, because I read the books first. Even though the show passes the books up, enough of the story is out and there were a lot of theories being discussed on A Song of Ice and Fire message boards. Most of what eventually unfolds was correctly predicted by fans who dissected the story closely. Still... there were a few good surprises.

Michael@GetFitwithDogs

Safe travels, hope all it going well! Take some travel pics for us!

Thats MR. Baldamort

Safe travels! 🍻

Michael@GetFitwithDogs

Oh no. Hope everything is okay Dasha.
