Dasha, I thought you enjoyed Crocodile Dundee when you watched it 6 months ago, are you going to watch Crocodile Dundee 2?

I agree. Such a phenomenal horror movie. Just as good as Conjuring.

I hope that with it's strong showing Hereditary (2018) gets a reaction.

I'm just asking for a bit of communication if you choose to not watch a poll winner or chances to the channel and stuff like that, Like. This isnt hard to understand. Let's not make mountains out of molehills. I don't need more interaction or anything, I'm not some child. I support Dasha, she is cool but also pledging money is also the only way to watch the uncuts I like hearing unedited thoughts, but there is nuances to everything, as transparency about what you are doing with the channel are appreciated. Its that simple since pledging is monthy subscription and not a pay per view thing else I'd do it that way.

I dont mind middle of the road movies. Like sure I think Event Horzion is mid sci fi, but I wouldnt even bother to watch it if Dasha wasnt reacting to it. Also yeah I hope to see her sister back sometimes! I would assume they are on vaction together right now. Hope to see them both on screen again! Its a whole other dynamic and enjoyment! Dasha also opens up her personality more around her too!

That is a fair point, Jokester, but did Dasha ever ASK for money? That's a genuine question, not a rhetorical one.
My impression was that Patreon was more of a "If you want to" thing for her rather than a request of "Send me money".
It wasn't that long ago that patrons were under the impression Dasha was going through a hard time and offered to help her monetarily. She responded with a "Thank you for the concern and thoughts" post but declined the money.
My point is that money seems to be a low priority thing for her and she isn't about to stoop to a low level to get more of it. I take it as a "it's nice if you want to help, but that's purely up to you" kind of arrangement.
I'm not saying that this is how it is, just how I see it. My interpretation.

I get it, its not like Dasha does this frequently. Tarabithis is just such a good film to skimp out on from a poll winner so it threw me off a bit. Not sure if she caved in from all the people telling her to avoid it or if she hated it, either way, would like to know.

"Dasha Cinematic Universe" LOL! That's good!
Speaking of this Universe... where has Natalia been? She added a new dimension to reactions that was very fun to have from time to time.

Ill chime in, I agree with both of you but i also want to say if "This was just for entertainment" then there shouldn't be any monetary ask from people. This is clearly a personal business venture of hers she feels like is worth money, and with asking people for money comes with some expectations, least of which would be communication to us about how she is running her channel here. I have resubscribed to other creators on the assumption that the movies i like that win polls will be watched. So yeah it can feel like getting screwed over if they don't. Not a good way to run your business if you don't communicate in situation like that.

You're not wrong to want some communication for why some decisions have been made. I completely understand your perspective on this.
If I had a suggestion for you - should you intend to stay a Patron - my suggestion would be to let it go. This seems to be how Dasha has decided to do things so it's kind of a "take it or leave it" situation, right?
In the end, this is just for entertainment. It's very small in the order of things. As someone who has always loved movies, this is just another way to enjoy movies but it's ultimately very low on my day-to-day priorities.
I guess what I am suggesting is to enjoy the content for what it is and take it with a grain of salt.

I don't mind if not every reaction is at a fever pitch. Sometimes you might have a high like The Conjuring, sometimes you might have a low like Captain Marvel, and then you're going to have stuff that sort of in the middle. It's all part of the DCU (Dasha Cinematic Universe). π

Unfortunate. Just wish some communication was involved in those choices because poll winnings and seeing a movie you like win encourages people to spend money and subscribe.

Yes, the "Conjuring 2" won the poll and it was also Dasha's vote. I am certain that movie will be coming up very soon.
Like "Big Trouble in Little China", I don't expect to see "Bridge to Terabithia" watched any time soon. Your guess is as good as mine as to why that is, but I've already put that out of my mind. For whatever reason, Dasha doesn't seem very interested in those poll winners. She has moved on, so it just seems best to also move on. *shrugs*

Not that I hate event horizon but also DIdnt conjuring 2 win the poll? We also still have not got Bridge to Terabithia, which also won a poll? Im Confused. Wish we would get an explanation on Terabithia at least. Matter a fact, Dasha hasnt reacted to any movies form the Terabithia poll lol. I thnk she might of simply forgot about it.

I do not understand the person who said that you don't need pictures of loved ones. Of course you remember what your loved ones look like without pictures, but having a picture of them brings their face directly into focus in a way that a memory does not.
There is no reason that you cannot have pictures AND memories. "Not needing pictures" just seems like a weird opinion to me, and comes across as if it's some unnecessary flex.
Anyways, enough of that. About the movie:
It's a very well made movie with a good story, but it is not one I would have chosen for a horror reaction. Maybe I read Dasha wrong, but I got the impression that she wasn't overly impressed either. I am not suggesting that she hated the movie. The impression I got from the reaction was that it was mediocre for her.
I don't know. I could be projecting my own feelings. I still believe Hereditary is more in line with what she would find to be a good horror movie.
