We are clear. Tornadoes just to our east and another just to our west. We seem to be safely in the middle, and now the bad parts are passed us. Still lots of family all over STL, so hopefully they end up safe as well. 🙏 You good, Baldamort?

If I recall several years ago there was a Deratio wind sheer. Imagine the strength of a hurricane but in land with wind going straight down instead of sideways which split trees in half and it ended up with as much Damage a hurricane would cause. Some of it damaged our house and my dad was happy about it, and I got confused as to why and he said "well there was a lot of problems with the roof already and now I dont have to pay to fix it" xD

AAAAAAAND my phone just went off with a tornado warning. The sirens are going off now too. Things could be getting interesting....

You too! We just got warning another tornado dropped, making it the 3rd. This time in Saint Clair, MO which is about 30 min away. First in Mansfield, then in Rolla, and now in St. Clair. All in a line getting closer and closer to O'Fallon. I'm more worried about my tree falling onto my house, as it's a Bradford Pear tree and they're known for splitting and falling.

Me and you are not far off from one another, and It was REALLY damn windy here too in Central Iowa. I have actually seen a lot of tornadoes but they dont ever hit in the town, just in the farmland outside of town. See oddly my town sits on a huge natural hill so tornadoes dissipate or lose a lot of strength by the time they get to it. The last time a tornado actually touched down in my town was in the 1970s but damn many do spawn in the miles of fields surrounding the town and they are cool to watch. Stay safe though dude.

Damn, y'all... major tornado warnings in my area. Katy and I are keeping an eye on the storm, and it's already producing tornadoes to the southwest. Several. And they're all pointed right in our direction. Unlikely that the tornadoes on the ground are a threat to us, but the concern is that the storm keeps dropping tornadoes along it's path, and those tornadoes it has dropped have all pointed this way and it's getting closer. Meaning that as it keeps getting closer it could drop one near by. Our neighbors are downtown for the St Patrick's Day weekend and we are going over to their house to take care of their dog, Gus. Gus is a German Short-hair Pointer. We just had to bring him over to our house to be safe. While the odds of getting hit by a tornado are still small, we didn't want to leave Gus home alone just in case. We are setting up in the workout room in the basement. It has a closet under the stairs, which should be the safest place in the house. I'm not overly concerned but this storm was warned as being a 1 in 100 year storm and we are right in the path of the storm. You can tune into the weather channel to see where O’Fallon, Missouri is in relation to the path of this monster. Not good! I've always wanted to see a tornado, but not at night.
