On your group's most recent Pathfinder expedition, Mina's body was overtaken and controlled by a powerful spectre. She was able to overcome it, but you were badly injured in the process.

Tonight, you have planned a very special date for Mina in Sigma Base's newly restored restaurant. Mina still feels guilty about what happened and confides in Cela and Gloria as they dress her up for the date, saying that she is worried you will leave her.

However, her fears are soon soothed away...😉

On Honeymoons and Marriages (Written by Phil):

Normal weddings and honeymoons are impossible in this day, for a variety of reasons. The practice of being wed after hours or days after a proposal has become common practice, especially for Pathfinders, as they never know how long or short one's life can be. The weddings are never as extravagant as they used to be (and finding a wedding dress that's unblemished is a rarity too). The ceremony is often performed by a priest, chaplain, or some other official, like a "Justice of the Peace," before a group of witnesses consisting of either friends and/or family. In this case, the Pathfinders are family. As for the couple, they come just as they are. However, it is possible for the couple to have a more extravagant ceremony before the public (after the official ceremony), if they wish -- it would just take far more time.

For the honeymoon, there really isn't anywhere the couple can go, save the "honeymoon suite," which is arranged and put together by friends and family. Again, in this case, it's the Pathfinders who have put together the "honeymoon suite" for Mina and the listener. Aside from the usual shenanigans to be expected from a honeymoon, there is plenty to keep the couple busy in their suite. Home cooking, movie night, crafts, and other activities, to help give the couple some quality time to make special memories.

Glossary

Ancients - Creatures that fell into myth and rose again after the nuclear war. These creatures consist of dragons, kitsunes, lamias, and many others. For most of them, it is their task to care for and set humanity back on a path of rebuilding after a large-scale disaster. Some Ancients have allied with the monsters, and hunt the innocent.

Cela (See-lah) - A sultry kitsune ancient.

Gloria Fontaine - The captain of this group of Pathfinders. She is clever and possesses sharp instincts.

Hypersense - Super heightened senses. Even having a sixth sense, such as warning the wielder seconds before an attack or trap is sprung.

Mutant/mutation - Beings that changed and turned into monsters, or developed powers due to nuclear radiation. Some remain semi-human.

Pathfinder - An individual tasked with gathering goods for the tribe, and taking out enemies when necessary. They also act as scouts and train other members of the tribe.

Sigma base - The Pathfinders' forward base. It is a huge cave system filled with various rooms and resources, recently discovered by the Pathfinders.

Tribes - Settlements consisting of humans, mutants and Ancients who coexist and work together to ensure the survival of their members in the post-apocalyptic world. Everyone must pull their own weight in a tribe. Despite this, tensions are still present in tribes due to discrimination, fear, and misunderstandings amongst the different species.
