2022-11-14 22:56:10 +0000 UTCI might be wrong, but I was under the impression that Ange thinks that the anime is an adaptation of the Cyberpunk 2077 game, which it's not, at least not entirely. It's set in the same world, but roughly 2 years before the events of Cyberpunk 2077 take place. The characters are different, different story being told, etc. Also, you've mentioned that you didn't learn anything about the world prior to watching the anime, but holy hell, are the both of you on point with most of what's going on. Both with Lucy in this one and messing up Katsuo before that :D
