Mega Mashup Zip Pack: May 2023 - 122 tracks, Cyberpop, Disco Deluxe, and so much more
Added 2023-05-29 19:54:04 +0000 UTCIt's been a busy month of music festivals: three weekends in a row, so please forgive me or for cutting it down to the wire here. At least I'm still getting this out to our DJs and lovely Patreon subscribers before the end of the month! Here are the highlights:
• iWillBattle - Cyberpop -- After we did the Cyberpunk Challenge in the Bootie Mashup Discord, iWillBattle had created way too many tracks, so he compiled this excellent album. Think of this as Part 2 of last month's Cyberpunk album.
• HallMighty – Disco Deluxe 7 – After a string of Disco Deluxe albums that definitely stretched the definition of "disco," this 7th edition of his album series definitely leans more into the classic disco era.
• Marc Johnce – Schlager mashups! -- To quote Wikipedia, "Schlager is a style of European popular music that is generally a catchy instrumental accompaniment to vocal pieces of pop music with simple, happy-go-lucky, and often sentimental lyrics." It's mostly in German, but we have a soft spot for this!
• DoM – a lot of "David Bowie goes reggae" mashups! -- Are we calling this "Ziggy StarDub?"
