2025-08-08 00:52:43 +0000 UTCyeah you're right, chan's situation is kinda different, like he basically made skz. there are interviews of skz and jyp explaining it, but from what i remember, they wanted to try a different approach. since he went through 7 years of training, seeing his friends debut or get cut while he was stuck doing showcases, and he already produced, wrote, and did everything, they asked him to pick the members, train them, write songs, and show them the results, which is shown in the survival show. during that time, he also came up with the group name stray kids and made their logo.
