2025-08-16 13:15:25 +0000 UTCIf you haven't seen it, you should absolutely check out Princess Mononoke when you get the chance, it is my favorite Studio Ghibli movie and one of my favorite movies of all time. It touches a lot on man vs. nature, internal vs. external conflicts, marginalization in society, as well as the importance of diversity in people and ideas. It is rated PG-13 for violence and blood, so idk if you would be allowed to post it to patreon or not. Also, this made me realize I have never actually watched any Ghibli movies in Japanese since they only played the english dubs on tv here.

Just leaving a recommendation here, you can watch this on your own free time if you want. you should watch SAVE ME 2 (idk if you've seen save me, but save me 2 has a different cast and its a sequel so its not really needed. both seasons are about cults). Season 1 has Seo yea ji and woo do Hwan and ok taec-yon as the main leads. The 1st season is about a woman who's family experiences grief and gets wrapped up into a cult, because of it. The male main leads try to rescue her from the cult. This season is pretty heavy. Season 2 is less traumatic and i prefer the story line (although both are good). The main character in season 2 is felon who is always in and out of prison. He comes home from prison to find his mom and sister apart of a cult. Since he's known for getting into trouble nobody believes him when he tries to expose the cult. The main character is the type of person to beat people up and rob people so it kinda makes for a super cool hero against the cult leaders. The main character usually plays assassins and stuff in movies so his character is like very masculine, extroverted, and laid back , which is a nice change from what I usually see from male main characters being a bit more docile and reserved. Also thanks for watching this movie! It's a classic
